It’s taken me quite a while to get around to posting this, I keep getting… distracted…

World’s Greatest Shave

The World’s Greatest Shave is the Leukemia Foundation’s major fundraiser in Australia each year.

Sorry, I couldn’t bring myself to shave my head. I have had a bad haircut waaaay too short, and that was traumatic enough. I would happily dye it though.

Thankfully there are 1000’s of other brave souls willing to shave for a wonderful cause.

Naomi, my partner in crime over at All for Women (she is the good cop :P ) has come home form her year in Denmark a little crazy..and has decided to shave her head! She is so brave..her hair is pretty long.

She has set a goal of $500, but has already raised over $1000. So, if you would like to get behind this great cause, and are looking for someone to sponsor. Naomi is your girl >here<

Rah and I have already donated. She has asked for a few hat related That’s Noice posts to get her through the baldness *hehe*

On Monday, Magnation hosted its first “Undies Monday” for the month of March.

IF YOU TURN UP WEARING ONLY YOUR UNDERTHINGS THEY’LL GIVE YOU $50 TO SPEND IN-STORE

Apparently the promotion was way. too. popular. this week and they’ve upped the ante with some extra rules to play by for the remaining Mondays in March.

I love me some magazines, but don’t think I’m willing to strip down to my unmentionables for it ;)

Noice’n up your wheelie bin

I think I’d be the laughing stock of my neighbourhood if I popped one of these on my wheelie bin:

…but if I *was* going to, I reckon I’d choose one of these!

Did you know these things even existed? I feel like I’m behind the 8-ball on this one.

These ones are from Wheelie Designs, but there are also wrap-around floral designs available from Wheelie Bin Skins and even Peter’s of Kensington sells them!

Ruddsicle anyone?

I am quite certain I could not bring myself to lick Krudd, no matter how good he tasted. Nor Damn Edna or Ned Kelley for that matter. But I love this concept.

Auspops is a design concept by Aussie Lucy Hargrave. The brief was to develop an Australian souvenir that could be sold to international visitors in a gift shop. “To give the product some Aussie charm and humour, I laser etched famous celebrity portraits into ice block holders, and designed clean, transparent packaging to give the piece an upmarket, collectible, design gift aesthetic. A booklet featuring information on the celebrities is attached so tourists can understand who they are and why they have been embodied into frozen icy treats.” she says.
