2 fave Aussie Bridal sites
TweetI think it’s at crucial times in your life that you really get to appreciate the wonders of the internet. Like when you’re house-hunting, having a baby… or getting married!
I had a vague idea of what was online for the soon-to-be-bride, but now that I’ve started looking around, there are some truly amazing and beautiful sites out there. Last month I wrote about the OffBeat Bride, one of my first true bridal loves on the interwebs.
But there are some great Aussie sites and blogs out there that are worth checking out – I have two stand-out favourites at the moment:
The Polka Dot Bride is really one of the best wedding blogs I’ve seen. Ms PolkaDot covers a range of topics and has a balance of local and overeas wedding porn. You can also follow Ms PolkaDot on Twitter, where she’s known to be very helpful to newly engaged ladies.
Bridal Style is part of the larger Style Collective network and even though it’s more of a magazine-style blog, it’s got some variety in the posts of tips, guidelines and answers to questions on tradition and how to annoy as few people as possible in the wedding preparation process.

Local and overseas wedding “porn”?
Yeah, Phoebe, wedding porn is great! It’s about the detail of the wedding, so nothing dirty about what goes on in the honeymoon suite. Even things like table placecard settings, seating lists… not all of it my cup of tea, but so much to look at!
